A cat tail

Took my cat Boots to the vet last night. It's time for him to have the surgery every male cat wishes didn't have to happen. Unfortunately, his desire to mark his territory made it inevitable. It was either lose his home or lose...well you know. What amazed me was that they asked me if I wanted to have him injected with a microchip. It threw me a little and I almost made the comment, "Well the peeing on the carpet is getting a little annoying but I'm not yet ready to condemns his soul for eternity." The mark of the beast in a beast...

Yes I know cats don't have immortal souls, just a little humor wrapped in paranoia. Is this just the first step in lulling us into a false sense of security. Not taking any chances.
